Meet the Creator Behind Glimmer Inkwell
Behind the pen name Glimmer Inkwell is a dedicated independent author with a passion for storytelling and intentional self-care.
My journey into designing guided journals and reflection resources began as a personal mission: a way to manifest a stable, prosperous future for my family while navigating the beautifully chaotic years of raising teenagers as a single mom. This creative outlet has evolved into a calling to help others navigate their own paths of self-discovery with one thoughtful, beautifully designed page at a time.
Crafting with Intention: My AI Disclosure
Transparency matters to me. While I am a professional author who normally writes original fiction, I am not a psychologist or a therapist. To build the most effective, diverse, and deep prompts possible, I utilize Artificial Intelligence as a collaborative tool for initial concept generation.
From there, my hands-on creative process takes over:
- Meticulous Curation: I personally review, edit, and tweak every single prompt to ensure it feels sincere, impactful, and aligned with the journal’s theme.
- Aesthetic Interior Design: I handle all the expert book formatting, themed image curation, graphic editing, and interior layouts.
- Cover Design: Every cover is custom-designed by me to look beautiful on your nightstand or desk.
I believe AI is a powerful, productive tool when guided by human heart and artistry. However, I respect everyone’s unique stance on technology. If you prefer products created entirely without AI assistance, these journals might not be the right fit for you—and that is completely okay!
A Note on Mental Wellness
Important Disclaimer: I am not a licensed mental health professional, and AI is not a therapist. These journals are designed for personal growth, reflection, and self-encouragement—they are not a replacement for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical treatment.
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or any other mental health challenge, I gently encourage you to reach out to a professional who can give you the support you deserve.
If you are in crisis, experiencing thoughts of self-harm, or just need someone to talk to right now, please connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. Help is available 24/7.
